The location turned out to be great, near to public areas, Douro river and Portugal. Visited Holsteins for a few drinks, it was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel, recommend.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Great localization over a beautiful green forest. Excellent restaurant and breakfast. Very good rooms, and very comfortable.The SPA was good, and the SPA services excellent (such as massages).Penafiel is a great little Portuguese town.I will certainly return.

The service was fantastic, just what we needed. the guest room had open windows with lovely views. the breakfast was large and excellent with plenty of food to choose from. the staff was very friendly and provided additional tips. the peaceful and perfect location in a large restaurant was a plus.

There were a lot of families with kids staying at the hotel and they were pretty noisy and kept diving in the indoor swimming pool all the time, although there were many signs recommending silence.

The rooms here are super spacious and amazing, and everything looks like it's straight out of a magazine. the staff is really friendly and nice, and the breakfast they serve is top-notch - you won't be leaving hungry! 🌟.
